How to make a Google Form Quiz from a Word file automatically? Free...No limit on questions


This article is about how to create a google form quiz automatically from a word file or a google docs file. The process used is fairly simple and can be setup by anyone with a google account. It uses google app script to automate the process. This method is prepared by AI.

Format to be followed for the question and answers in the word file/google docs.
  • First line → Question text.
  • Following lines → Options 
  • Correct answer = Star * at the beginning or end of an option 
  • One line gap between two questions.
  • Each MCQ → 1 point (Automatically set)
Limitation: This method cannot copy the images to the google form. It has to be manually uploaded.

Make a copy of the google doc. (Go to File and then Make a copy)

Click on Make a copy.

That will open a new google doc like the screenshot. In this you will be able to see a new option of Quiz tools.
Before processing further you can now add/paste your questions in this google doc as per the format.

Click on the Quiz Tools and then click on the Create Google Form Quiz.

The script will start and open a dialogue box for Authorizations. Click ok.

Click on the google account that you want to sign in with.
Step-8
Click on Advance.

Click on Go to Docs to Google Form Generator.

Click on Select All.

Click on Continue.

The Google form will start generating and the progress you can see on the right side.

Once the form is generated, you can click on the link to open the google form.

The google form already has the correct answers set and 1 points per question has been set.
